Thank you for dropping by for West Coast British's Picture Book.  We hope you will enjoy some of the events and pictures of Land Rovers. There are more photos at Off-Road Experience.

Left: Soldier Meadows, Nevada, July 1999; Peter Green (left) and Richard Green (right) enjoy a steak dinner atop Todd Rueppel’s 88" after a long days ride across the Applegate Lassen Trail.

Left: Bret Morshead in his 1965 88" Truck, and Powered by Ford (289)!, just north of Virginia City, NV. 2/81

Left: September 1982, Richard Noble and THRUST II arrive from the UK to find the Salt Flats covered in water… since British Leyland is a major sponsor, Michael Green hears of it and directs Noble to the Black Rock Desert in N. Nevada. That’s Michael Green’s 88" to the left.

Left: The THRUST team came back to Nevada in 1983 and broke the record on the Black Rock, here’s just one of their support vehicles.
Gerlach, NV.

In 1983 Richard Noble would break the Worlds Land Speed Record at over 633 mph, it would stand until September 25, 1997.
